  • 1833 - House Committee recommended construction of lighthouse
  • 1839 - lighthouse, lifesaving boat, fog gun established

  • 1922 - 1943 - 2nd order dioptric lens, group flashing white (24s), diaphone

  • Structure Type: Steel skeleton tower

  • Skeleton Tower: This is a skeleton tower.
