  • Standing: This light is no longer standing.
  • Operating: This light is no longer operating.
  • Began: 1864
  • Year Lit: 1864
  • Structure Type: Lantern, red on roof of dwelling, white
  • Light Characteristic: Flashing White (1941)
  • Tower Height: 033ft feet high.
  • Light Height: 070ft feet above water level.

History Items for This Lighthouse

  • 1883 - catatropic light, revolving red & white (60s), 10m
  • 1914 - fog signal established
  • 1922 - 1941 - 5th order dioptric lens, flashing white (15s), diaphone fog signal
  • 1941 - catatropic lens - 1941 - 1960 - replaced between these dates
