PRESIDENT
RECOGNIZED BY THE HERITAGE CANADA FOUNDATION
Barry Macdonald was recognized in
September, 2008, in the National Awards Program of the Heritage Canada
Foundation, Canada’s most prestigious recognition for achievement and
excellence in the field of built heritage conservation.
The 2008 non-juried award recipients
included Sen. Pat Carney (Ret.) of British Columbia and Mr. Barry
MacDonald of Chezzetcook, Nova Scotia, as the first-time recipients of
the Governors’s Award in recognition of their tireless efforts in
bringing about the recent passage of the federal Act to Protect
Heritage Lighthouses.
