Guided trips To Sambro Island
(**Note Sambro Lighthouse will not be open to the public.)
When: Saturday, August 14, 2010(**Some details may change before the day of the trip. Be sure to check www.nslps.com/NewsEvents
the week of August 8 before coming out to Sambro on Saturday.)
Time: Boats depart on the hour
First boat leaves at 10:00 AM; last boat to the island: 2:30 PM.
Last boat from the island: 4:00 PM and arrives in the village at 4:30 PM
Where: Government Wharf at Sambro Village
Buy tickets on the wharf and get the time for your trip!
(Space on the boats is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis.)
Cost: $20 single. $30 couple. $50 family of 4-6 people. Buy tickets on the wharf.
(Ticket includes 1 membership in NSLPS, if not already a member.)
**Children must be 8 years or over, accompanied by an adult, and wear a life jacket.
Bring drinking water, a jacket, and wear sturdy footwear. Be prepared to climb up rocks
and walk on rough paths. ***Note: there are no facilities on the island.
